Some pictures from our trek around the South side of the lake today. I've added captions to most-- does this help?

The Beginning

So after two days of fooling around with this blogspot.com with commands in Spanish, I managed to figure out how to change the language settings. That allowed us to go ahead and read (in English) how to do other things, like posting pictures. Now Bob is working on putting captions with the pictures. These first pictures are mostly views of our street or views from the terrace. It's very dry and hazy right now, but there really is a lake below those blue mountains, which are on the other (south) side of the lake. The closer brown mountains are right behind us to the north and will allegedly suddenly turn bright green any day now when the rains begin. The temps are in the 80s in the daytime, 60s at night. Very pleasant. With the ceiling fans, we've had no need at all for AC. Good thing since there isn't any! The house is lovely and very comfortable. The dogs have adapted to walks on cobblestone streets as opposed to their stretch of lawn. And they were great on the trip.
